Jump into a time machine as the San Fernando Valley Chorale takes us for a nostalgic trip into the past with its Spring 2016 Concert, "It's A  Grand Night for Singing."

Ranging from a medley of "Guys and Dolls" to the pulsating rhythms of "Great Balls of Fire" and "Splish, Splash," the Chorale performs a refreshing burst of live music to brighten your evening.  Enjoy the velvety tones of "Blue Velvet" and a bit of the classics with Brahms' "The May Night." And you don't want to miss hearing "Johnny One Note" singing his heart out with his One Note.

Two concerts will be held. The first is on Sunday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Chapel of the Cross, 10000 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345.

The second is on Saturday, June 4 at 7 pm. at Valley Park Church, 16514 Nordhoff St., North Hills, CA 91343.

Instrumental, as well as vocal solos, enhance the magic of this musical evening. Conrad Immel, long-time director, puts the Chorale through its fun yet disciplined paces every Tuesday evening for four months in preparation for performance.

The Chorale is a non-profit, non-sectarian group of men and women singers who share their love of music to the community-at-large in the winter and spring. Suggested donations for performances are $10 for Adults and $5 for children. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the concert.

For ticket information call (818) 884-8897 or email dnconway@icloud.com. Tickets may also be obtained at the door. Following the concert, light refreshments will be served.
