The San Fernando Valley Chorale is back with its magical live holiday music in early December. “We Wish You Christmas” is the theme of the 2017 holiday concerts.

The first is on Saturday, December 2,  2017 at 5 p.m. at the Chapel of the Cross, 10000 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345.

The second is on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Chatsworth, 20440 Lassen Street (east of Mason Ave.), Chatsworth, CA 91311.

The two part program, which features sacred and secular Christmas music, includes songs such as '50's Doo-wop style “Blue Christmas,” Christmas anthem "The Joyful News," and gentle ballad "Mary, Did You Know?" Not to be missed is the boisterous "Rock and Roll Reindeer" and ever-popular "Jingle Bells."

Solos, both vocal and instrumental, enhance the magic of these live performances. Conrad Immel, long-time director, and his wife and accompanist, Nancy Immel, rehearse with the chorale every Tuesday evening for three months to perfect arrangements of well-loved as well as rarely heard holiday songs.

The Chorale is a non-profit, non-sectarian group of men and women singers who share their love of music to the community-at-large in the winter and spring. Suggested donations for performances are $10 for Adults and $5 for children. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the concert.

For ticket information call (818)724-5966 or email sfvchorale@gmail.com Tickets may also be obtained at the door. Following the concert, light refreshments will be served.
