The San Fernando Valley Chorale's December 2019 performances bring their usual high caliber, magical mix of sacred, spiritual, popular and classical holiday music to its audiences.

The first is on Sunday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m. at at the Congregational Church of Chatsworth, 20440 Lassen Street (at the corner of Lassen and Mason), Chatsworth, CA 91311. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The second is on Saturday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Cross, 10000 Sepulveda Blvd.,  Mission Hills, CA. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Long-time Director Conrad Immel has searched for and rehearsed the Chorale every Tuesday evening from September into December for the right and perfect selection of music, with vocal solos and instrumental accompaniment to create a dynamic and totally enjoyable evening's entertainment. In the mix are the sacred "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," "Jazz Gloria," Pergolesi's "Glory to God in the Highest,"and the popular and fun "Boogie Woogie Santa," "Jingle Bells" and "Grandma's Killer Fruit Cake." There's usually a surprise guest. Who will it be this year? Santa? An Elf? A "Killer Fruit Cake?" Come and find out.

The Chorale, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization composed of men and women singers, share their love of music to the community at large in the winter and spring. Following each performance, there is a social hour with refreshments. We have also added a boutique where you can shop for unique and beautiful holiday gifts.

Suggested donations for performances are $15 for Adults and $8 for children over 5 years.
